St. Peter’s Church in the Great Valley is a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania and home to around 500 people from all walks of life and spiritual journeys. As Episcopalians, we seek to be generous and yet orthodox in our theology, and to know God’s truth through the use of Scripture, tradition, and reason, as well as through our lived experiences.

The Episcopal Church is part of the larger worldwide Anglican Communion of thirty-eight autonomous and regional churches, finding a common source of unity with the Diocese of Canterbury, England, and the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Episcopal Church views itself as both Reformed/Protestant and Catholic and as part of God’s one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

At St. Peter’s, we seek to be a welcoming and inclusive place for all people, living into our calling as followers of Jesus Christ. Our hope is, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to nurture people of all ages in the knowledge and love of God in Jesus Christ, and to make him known in the wider community.

Everything we do is rooted in our worship of God, experienced corporately every Sunday during the year. From our praise and gratitude given to God, we are sent forth into the world to participate in God’s mission.

We invite you to visit us and experience with us the joy we have come to know in the living God.
