Liam Reid, St. Peter’s weekend sexton, was born in Scotland and lived his early years in the remote Highlands. Returning to the United States in 1989 with his parents, he grew up in the Anglican Men and Boys choir tradition. He is a cradle Episcopalian, a member of St. Peter’s, and sings in the 11:15 a.m. choir. His parents were married in the church and his grandparents are buried here. Liam is also responsible for the grounds and facilities at both Washington Memorial Chapel and at St. Paul’s Elkins Park. He has a degree in media presentation, and when Liam is not helping to maintain three Episcopal Churches, he is a film maker and sound engineer. He has worked in sound for hundreds of musical acts, including several Grammy award-winning musicians, and has done film and media work for the National Geographic, History, and Discovery channels, for Animal Planet, ESPN, and for several Episcopal churches.
