In addition to the regular Sunday service schedule, St. Peter’s offers additional services on important days in the Church year, as well as special Sunday services such as Evensong (sung Evening Prayer) and Compline (sung Night Prayer).

November 5, 2017: Compline, 7:30 p.m. in the Bank Barn

The Season of Advent

December 17, 2017: Advent Lessons and Carols, 10:00 a.m. in the Bank Barn (Please note that this service replaces the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Holy Eucharists.)

December, 3, 2017: Choral Evensong, 4:00 p.m. in the Historic Church

December 24, 2017 (The Fourth Sunday of Advent): The Holy Eucharist, Rite II at 9:00 a.m.

The Season of Christmas

December 24, 2017, The Eve of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ: Family Eucharist and Children’s Pageant at 4:00 p.m. (Bank Barn); Festal Choral Eucharists at 7:30 and 10:00 p.m. (Historic Church), with seasonal prelude music for choirs and strings at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. respectively

December 25, 2017, The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ: The Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m., with music for the season at 10:45 a.m.

The Season of Epiphany

January 7, 2018, The First Sunday after the Epiphany: Compline at 7:30 p.m. in the Bank Barn

The Season of Lent

February 14, 2018—Ash Wednesday: Liturgies of the Day at 7:00 a.m., 12 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. in the Historic Church

Holy Week

March 25, 2018—Palm Sunday: Choral Evensong at 4 p.m. (Historic Church)

March 29, 2018—Maundy Thursday: Agapé Meal at 6:30 p.m.; Liturgy of the Day at 7:30 p.m.; Night Watch until 7:00 a.m.

March 30, 2018—Good Friday: Liturgy of the Day at 7:00 a.m.; Seven Last Words of Christ (meditations) from 12 to 3 p.m.

March 31, 2018: The Great Vigil of Easter at 7:30 p.m. (festive reception following)
